Activities

Chaseley's dedicated activities team put on a wide range of social activities  within the home, including table tennis, pool, bingo, quizzes, indoor bowls, music appreciation, gardening, cake/sweet making, cookery, pet therapy, print making, concerts and shows, creative writing and more.  

Art is a very popular pastime and classes are held using the Bob Ross 'Wet on Wet' technique, which enables even complete beginners to participate fully and produce excellent results.  The picture shows a typical Bob Ross painting.

Additionally a variety of activities are accessible outside the home, including carriage driving and swimming, and there are regular visits to places of interest plus shopping trips, pub lunches, shows, concerts etc.

Every effort is made to assist service users with hospital, dental and optician appointments, although a dentist, optician, hairdresser and chiropodist regularly visit to offer their services.  In addition, one of Chaseley's activity staff offers aromatherapy, reflexology and swedish massage.
