The Chaseley Trust provides
around the clock residential nursing care and personal assistance
at two locations in Eastbourne: Chaseley Home in South Cliff (next
to the Hydro Hotel), and Chaseley Bungalows at The Sidings, off St
Phillip's Avenue.
Chaseley Home
Chaseley Home provides dynamic
and expert care for people with severe physical disabilities in a
safe, friendly and accessible environment. This is achieved through
an expert multi-discliplinary team approach providing a service
respecting the choices, indivduality and privacy of its residents
and day care clients. The Home offers 55 beds in rooms
located over three floors in a characterful building. There
are spacious recreational rooms including a therapy suite, computer centre, cafe/bar, restaurant,
large function room with digital projector, screen and surround
sound, sunroom and lounge, plus a large garden with fishpond,
aviary and terrace, overlooking the sea.
Residential accommodation can
be short or long term, with each resident having an individual care
plan goal.

complex neurological conditions plus other health issues that may
accompany the disability, including hearing, speech or visual
impairment, cancer, Aids/HIV, Crohn's Disease and more.
A significant benefit Chaseley
can offer over and above many nursing care homes is our fully
equipped and very specialist physiotherapy department on site, able to carry out a wide range
of assessments and therapy treatments. These are offered and
included in the cost of our residential care, as well as a wide
range of activities and outings. We also have a specialist sensory room
designed to stimulate residents with an acquired brain injury or
stroke damage.
