While Chaseley accepts people
from all walks of life, since our formation in 1946 we have
prioritised service and former service personnel when allocating
residential, respite and day care placements. Subsidised respite
care is sometimes available.
Around a third of our residents
have served in the armed forces or merchant navy, as have some of
our regular respite and day care guests.
We maintain links with many
service organisations and will do everything we can to make our
clients and their families feel welcome. We can provide a
permanent home at Chaseley or at our new bungalow development. We can offer a holiday
or respite care break, or short/long term help with rehabilitation and adjusting to life with a disability,
before returning to independent living.
Eastbourne has many hotels and B&Bs where friends and family can stay,
including an hotel adjacent to our home. We may also be
able to accommodate a partner in our bungalows or main home -
please enquire.
